Short On Time

Green Cheek's Short On Time is a double dry-hopped West Coast IPA built for exactly that feeling, keys missing, phone dying, traffic against you, and somehow always worth stopping for anyway.

You know that feeling, right? You're already ten minutes late, your keys have vanished into whatever dimension keys go to hide in, your phone's hanging on at 7% battery, and traffic's decided today's the day it's not going to cooperate. Green Cheek Beer Co took that exact chaos and turned it into a beer, which honestly feels like a public service.

Short On Time is a double dry-hopped West Coast IPA at 7.2% ABV, built with Mosaic, Citra, and a dab of Krush. It comes out wonderfully dry but still packed to the brim with hop flavor, fresh blueberries, that grapefruit candy thing, and a lingering hit of what Green Cheek fondly calls sticky cannabis. It's the kind of hop profile that fills up your whole afternoon in a good way, even when the rest of your afternoon has other plans.

Here's what I like about this one, it doesn't pretend being short on time is some tragedy. It leans into it, thrilling combo of poor planning and relentless optimism, they call it, and honestly, that's most of us most days. Orange, California's Green Cheek gets that, and they've built a whole beer around embracing the chaos instead of fighting it.

Eighteen bucks for a four pack, and it's out now. Grab one before you're running late for that too.

Sometimes the best beer for a bad day is just one that admits the day's a mess and pours you something good anyway.
